We have an exciting opportunity for a course administrator with a ‘can do’ attitude to act as a key player in managing the administration of the new part-time online course developed jointly by the Department of Oncology and the Nuffield Department of Population Health aimed at working health professionals who wish to expand their knowledge of Precision Cancer Medicine.
You will be responsible for the coordination and administration of student admissions, the teaching programme and residential school, and examination processes, as well as providing assistance to the academic postholders in precision cancer medicine. As this is a new course, this post presents an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to take a lead in developing administrative processes.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with previous experience coordinating teaching and learning, training courses, seminars or similar event organisation. You will also be experienced in using learning technologies (e.g. Canvas/ WebLearn, Panopto, Replay RapidMooc) to support online learning. Previous experience working in the higher education sector particularly in course administration would be advantageous.
You will have well developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to develop good work relationships with staff at all levels and effectively as part of a team. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. You will also possess excellent skills in Microsoft Office packages including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and general database management.
This is a full-time post fixed for 3 years available from January 2020.
