The Saïd Business School is looking for two outstanding candidates to join our expanding Research Assistance Support Team (RAST). The RAST currently consists of two Research Assistants and makes up an important component of the research support available at the School. The RAST sits within the School’s Research Office and is managed by the Head of Research Support and Administration.
The successful candidates will work closely with faculty and postdoctoral researchers across the School, supporting the delivery of various research projects in finance, business, management, marketing, strategy, sustainability, leadership, and more. The postholder will be a member of the Saïd Business School’s research community with access to internal research seminars and other professional development programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain academic research experience and to learn from leading academics.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong research background and a pro-active approach to learning new skills. We’re looking for two candidates, one with proficiency in quantitative methods and one with both qualitative and quantitative research experience. A recent degree in the social sciences or a related field would be beneficial, especially computational social science, behavioural science, communications, statistics, economics, computer science, finance, or management. Experience working with academic faculty on advanced research projects would be an advantage.
