Are you skilled and dedicated with a passion for grounds management and environmental conservation? We have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Person to join our Estates team at the Saïd Business School. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in maintaining, enhancing, and developing the 37-acre parkland grounds at Egrove Park.
Reporting directly to the Grounds Manager, your role will encompass a wide range of grounds management disciplines, including landscaping, tree surgery, pond maintenance, and more. Some key responsibilities include:
1. Assisting the Grounds Manager in maintaining and improving lawns, meadows, woodlands, ponds, pathways, and indoor plants.
2. Operating and maintaining various grounds machinery such as trimmers, ride-on lawnmowers, and tractors.
3. Performing tarmac and driveway maintenance, including snow and ice clearance when necessary.
4. Contributing to habitat management initiatives to promote biodiversity in alignment with our sustainability goals.
