We are seeking a Clinical Trial Administrator to assist the trial management team to ensure the successful running of clinical trials being carried out by the Oxford Respiratory Trials Unit. The post holder will have detailed knowledge of one-two projects within the group’s diverse portfolio of IMPs and non-CTIMP studies and be able to manage competing demands and changing priorities. The Trial Administrator will work closely with the trial management team and the wider group to ensure the successful set up, running and completion of trials on time and on budget. This role will focus on the day-to-day management of the PANORAMIC platform trial, a national urgent public health trial of Covid-19 treatments in the community, which aims to reduce recovery time and prevent hospital admission. PANORAMIC is the world’s largest trial of community-based therapeutics for Covid-19.
You will be methodical and accurate in the gathering and recording of data with excellent record keeping abilities. You will have relevant experience of working in a similar role with a flexible attitude and an interest in clinical research. It is desirable to be willing and able to travel within the UK, which would be facilitated by having access to own reliable transport. It is also desirable to have up to date Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and insight into current issues in the conduct of clinical trials.
The post is full time and fixed-term for 12 months.
