Saïd Business School are recruiting for a Receptionist, reporting to the Reception Manager.
The Reception team are key members of the wider Central Services department. This is a full-time role, consisting of 5 shifts per week Monday to Friday, providing cover between 7am and 6pm, on a rotating shift basis.

It is essential that you project a smart, professional image and have a helpful, efficient approach when dealing with colleagues, students and visitors. This is a busy and varied role which requires flexibility and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
We are looking for you to show a proven ability to work in a busy and diverse customer-facing Reception role, responding appropriately to requests from a varied range of customers, including staff, student, programme/conference clients and VIPs and to have relevant experience within a hotel, University of Oxford or similar academic environment.
You will need to have excellent written and verbal communications skills with outstanding customer service skills, including a good telephone manner, along with being competent in Microsoft Office, IT systems and use of a telephone switchboard.
We expect you to have proven reliability, excellent time-keeping/attendance record and demonstrate initiative and exercise good judgment, showing discretion and confidentiality at all times.
You will need to be able to demonstrate your organisational skills and ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
