We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Machine Learning to join Professor Torr’s research group at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). You will be responsible for the development and implementation of novel computer vision and learning algorithms for reliable, robust, and efficient deep neural networks. Skills and background on empirical and certifiable robustness of deep learning along with knowledge on continual learning will be an advantage. You will be working on large scale continual learning and bridging the gap to the empirical robustness literature. The aim is to build reliably robust continually learning models at scale.
You should hold a PhD or DPhil (or be near completion of) in Computer Vision or Machine Learning. You should also have excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent the research group at meetings.
