Research Initiative Administrator, Oxford Future of Marketing Initiative (FOMI)
Fixed term contract - 1 year in the first instance
Full time hours (0.8fte would be considered)
We invite applications for a motivated and approachable individual to join our small administrative team providing administrative support for the School’s Oxford Future of Marketing Initiative (FOMI), working alongside the Research and Partnerships Manager and the Impact and Communications Manager.
This role will offer you a broad range of research administration experience that will be an excellent foundation for a longer-term career in research administration at the University.
Your primary role will be to provide professional and proactive executive support to the Director and Deputy Director of FOMI and also to support them in any other senior roles they take on.
This role will suit an individual who enjoys being part of a busy collaborative office and working in an environment of changing priorities.
To be considered for this role you will need to:
Be able to maintain a flexible, optimistic and ‘can do’ approach when facing new challenges and in meeting target delivery dates and be able to work under pressure, independently & prioritise effectively in line with tight deadlines.
Have highly developed IT skills and the ability to use a broad range of computerised systems and data sources to support improved communications.
Be a confident individual who enjoys working with people and is keen to ensure a high level of customer and client satisfaction.
Demonstrate proven communication and interpersonal skills that relate to working collaboratively with staff at all levels and as part of a small team, along with evidence of tact and discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.
Have an interest in events administration
