Saïd Business School are recruiting for a Media Manager reporting to the Head of Communications.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to play an integral part in helping shape and deliver the School’s communications strategy. You will be a confident media operator, at ease with briefing senior journalists on stories, providing strategic media advice to senior leaders within the School, translating complex issues into compelling news copy and building excellent stakeholder relationships, both inside and outside of the School.

To be considered for this role you will need to:
Have extensive communications experience in print, digital and social media.
Demonstrate proven experience in landing media coverage across international, national, trade media.
Have excellent writing skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to communicate complex concepts to a non-specialist audience, along with excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and the ability to inspire the confidence of senior colleagues.
We expect you to be proficient in working with a range of computer-based and online applications, including website content management systems and have first rate research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data.
