Following a significant increase in the performance of Hertfordshire Business School in the recent Research Excellence Framework, an opportunity has arisen to create several new Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow posts to assist with the further development of the research culture and environment in the School to support our ambition to further elevate our research standing. In REF2021 we were ranked 12th in the Business and Management Unit of Assessment for Impact and prior to that we were ranked first in the UK for Postgraduate Research Supervision in 2021 in the national survey – PRES. We are a very ambitious and expanding Business School with a mission to transform lives which translates into much of the impactful research we undertake. We work with research teams across the UK and our former Research Fellows have all transitioned to academic roles as we seek to provide a broad based experience for researchers to build future research careers working with our leading researchers. We encourage all new appointees to undertake our teaching qualification course and to seek membership of the Higher Education Academy in pursuit of an academic career.
