The post holder is expected to be part of a team working to develop novel machine learning reconstruction and motion correction techniques for 3D free-breathing whole-heart Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The post holder will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing machine learning based reconstruction and motion correction techniques for multi-contrast 3D cardiac MRI, and designing and running validation experiments in phantoms, volunteers and patients. The post will use the infrastructure provided by the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences and will be based at St Thomas' Hospital.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2022 (with prospect of extension)
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent
