You will have a unique role working on data from two internationally renowned twin cohorts, both placed at King's College London - TwinsUK and the Twins Early Development Study (TEDS). Together these cohorts are the largest twin cohorts in the UK and some of the most deeply phenotyped and genotyped in the world. The TEDS cohort comprises twins followed from birth into their twenties, and TwinsUK has focused on older twins, thus together the two cohorts cover the lifespan. Both teams are highly supportive environments for developing early career researchers.
You will be able to develop and test your own hypotheses using our extensive existing datasets, and will write papers and present your work at international conferences. There may also be opportunity for new data collections suiting your interests.
Whilst previous experience analysing twin data is desirable, anyone with structural equation model-fitting or other relevant analytical expertise and interest in working with twin data is encouraged to apply.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months.
