We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Translational QC PET/Radiochemist to work as part of the research and development team at KCL PET Centre and Imaging Chemistry and Biology Department. This role is part of a Biomedical Research Centre funded project within the School of Imaging Science and Biomedical Engineering.
The role will be to work as part of a team of radiochemists involved in the Quality Control, production and release of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with GMP requirements to set production schedules.
To support the development of new tracers by performing practical validation work as directed by more senior radiochemists. To assist in the translation and development of QC analysis methods for new radiopharmaceuticals and to optimise methods for radiopharmaceuticals that are currently available in the research literature. KCL has an exciting pipeline of novel PET tracers intended for clinical translation and the objective of the post is to work with the radiochemistry team to implement robust methods and associated documentation for GMP QC analysis of these radiotracers to facilitate their use in humans. The development methods must therefore be translatable into GMP production. Teaching and training of radiochemistry staff will be expected.
