The primary focus of the CRUK KHP Centre is the exploration of the key vulnerability of a tumour: its dependence on the complex microenvironment in which it develops, progresses, and ultimately spreads.
This Cancer Research UK Clinical Research Fellowships is a three year post to facilitate basic and translational research experience in cancer. There are five potential projects available:
Project 1: Imaging PD-L1 expression & tumour metabolism for stratification & treatment response in cancer. This project is under the supervision of Prof. Gary Cook & Prof. Vicky Goh
Project 2: Modelling metastatic spread to human lymph nodes. This project is under the supervision of Dr Anita Grigoriadis & Dr Kalnisha Naidoo
Project 3: The humoral immune response in patients with melanoma undergoing checkpoint inhibitor therapy. This project is under the supervision of: Dr Sophia Karagiannis, Dr Katie Lacy & Dr Sophie Papa
Project 4: Delineation of immune and genomic signatures in Systemic Mastocytosis correlated with Disease phenotype and Therapeutic responses. This project is under the supervision of: Dr Donal McLornan, Dr Deepti Radia & Dr Shahram Kordasti
Project 5: Characterising the tumour immune microenvironment and response to combination immunotherapy in lymphoma. This project is under the supervision of: Dr Alan G. Ramsay & Dr. Andrea Kuhnl
