About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
1. PhD in Pure Mathematics
2. Strong research record in an area of Pure Mathematics, as evidenced by publications in high quality journals and conferences
3. Potential to attract external research funds
4. Ability to teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules in mathematics
5. Ability to supervise postgraduate research students
6. Ability to make significant contributions to administrative work
7. Excellent presentation and communication skills
Desirable criteria
1. Experience in attracting external research funds
2. Experience of teaching and examining
3. Experience of administration
