Inkfish Senior Research Scientist in Digital Health and AI Platform Lead
Department : Department of Population Health Sciences

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
 
Essential criteria
  1. PhD in digital health, AI or a very closely related discipline within the context of healthcare
  2. Expertise in digital health, AI, wearable technology, and strong understanding of multimodal data analysis
  3. Experience and evidence of aptitude for leading large-scale digital health research projects
  4. Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7) and regulatory requirements
  5. Leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments
  6. Experience with cloud-based infrastructure for large-scale data processing and analysis
  7. Good effective communication (both oral and written) skills, with experience of communicating complex concepts to both experts and lay members of the public
  8. Project management skills – the ability to initiate, plan, organise, implement and deliver programmes of work to tight deadlines
Desirable criteria
  1. An understanding of the research ethics process and regulatory environment relevant to the EMBRACE programme
  2. Experience in UX/UI design
