Clinical Lecturer in General Practice

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
 
Essential criteria
  1. Full GMC / NMC / other relevant body registration with valid license to practice
  2. PhD (or completed thesis submission for PhD)
  3. Registered and licensed by the General Medical Council to practise as a GP
  4. Competent researcher in qualitative or quantitative research in areas of our current work programmes
  5. Competent scientific writer e.g. First author scientific publication
  6. Highly motivated to achieve career as independent researcher in general practice and primary care
  7. Demonstrable understanding of the principles of good teamwork
  8. Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, actively addressing areas of potential bias
Desirable criteria
  1. Competent clinical teacher
  2. Competent in academic supervision
  3. Continued clinical experience after completion of higher professional training in keeping with seniority
  4. Collaborator in research funding application
