The Disabilities Trust is a leading national charity, providing innovative care, rehabilitation and support solutions for people with profound physical impairments, acquired brain injury and learning disabilities.
We are recruiting for Physiotherapist to join our clinical team at our acquired brain injury unit Thomas Edward Mitton House located in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
Thomas Edward Mitton provides care and support for up to 16 people who have acquired brain injury and have a range of cognitive, physical and/or emotional symptoms following their brain injury.
As a Physiotherapist, you will work as part of a team providing physiotherapy input to service users with acquired brain injury and actively participate in regular clinical supervision to reflect on clinical practice and clinical reasoning.
You will manage, support and prioritise a caseload of service users with complex mental/physical health needs and facilitate complex discharge packages of care and advice. In addition to this, you will participate in the planning, development and evaluation of Physiotherapy services within a designated team.
What are we looking for?
Suitable applicants will have a degree within physiotherapy and HPC registered.
Previous experience within neurology is essential
What will you receive?
Full Time position - Monday to Friday 9-5
£25,000 per annum
