Speech & Language Therapist

The Disabilities Trust is recruiting for a Speech & Language Therapist to join the clinical team at our brain injury unit, Fen House.
Fen House is a residential rehabilitation service that provides accommodation and innovative personal care for up to 25 adults with acquired brain injury. This unit provides neurobehavioral assessment and rehabilitation services for adults with cognitive, physical and/or emotional symptoms as a result of their brain injury.
As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide speech and language therapy input to clients with acquired brain injury and liaise with external and internal professionals. You will facilitate complex discharge packages of care and give advice to other disciplines and agencies. Furthermore, you will supervise other members of staff such as Rehabilitation Support Workers in carrying out programmes that you have devised.
We are looking for applicants with the following:
Suitable applicants will be HCPC registered and hold a degree or diploma in Speech & Language Therapy.
Applicants will have dysphagia training and ideally a Band 7 (in line with NHS)
